Description
Square tube insert 80×80 mm, brown
Square tube insert for 80×80 mm profiles in brown, made from polyethylene. It closes the open end of a hollow section, providing a neat finish and protecting the interior from dirt.
The internal section of the insert has ribs that press against the profile walls and hold the insert in place. The insert has a flat external flange that sits against the edge of the profile when pressed in, concealing its cross-section. The profile wall thickness range for which it is designed is given in the specification.

Installation and selection
Press the insert into the open end of the profile until the external flange rests against its edge. Before purchasing, check the nominal profile size and wall thickness to ensure the ribs fit within the correct range. Polyethylene is commonly used to make inserts, and its flexibility allows the ribs to conform to the inside of the profile. The product is sold individually.
