Square tube insert 80×80 mm, black, 1.5–4.5 mm wall thickness
The black Square tube insert 80×80 mm is a finishing component that closes the open end of a hollow section. It is made of polyethylene, and the ribs on the internal section allow it to be fitted into tubes with different wall thicknesses.
Inserts of this type are used in steel and aluminium structures, frames, bases and support components where a neat finish is required at the ends of tubes. The press-fit ribbed section sits inside the tube, while the flat flange covers its edge.
The 1.5–4.5 mm wall thickness range allows the same insert to be used in tubes with different wall thicknesses. The black colour complements dark tubes and support structures, while polyethylene is a material commonly used for finishing components of this kind.
