Square tube insert 60×60 mm, anthracite

The Square tube insert 60×60 mm in anthracite (RAL 7016) provides a neat finish for the open ends of hollow sections. The flat flange covers the edge of the profile, while the ribbed internal section fits inside it.

Inserts of this type are used at the ends of steel and aluminium profiles in support structures, fences, railings, furniture and frames. Closing the opening helps prevent dirt from entering the profile and covers sharp cut edges.

The wall thickness range of 1.5–3.0 mm allows one insert size to be used with profiles of different wall thicknesses, making selection easier. The insert is pushed into the open end of the profile until the flange rests against its edge.

When selecting an insert for a hollow section, the nominal cross-sectional dimension and wall thickness are decisive. The ribs on the internal section press against the profile walls and hold the insert in place. Polyethylene is lightweight, moisture-resistant and easy to process, making it a common choice for profile inserts. The dark anthracite colour pairs well with components in anthracite shades.
