Description
Square tube insert 45×45 mm, grey
The grey Square tube insert 45×45 mm is a practical finishing component for protecting the open ends of hollow profiles. Made from polyethylene, it provides a neat finish while protecting the profile end from dirt and preventing contaminants from entering.
The internal part of the insert has ribs that fit inside the profile and hold the insert in place. The flat external flange covers the edge of the profile for a neat finish. The design is intended for profiles with a wall thickness of 1.5–3.0 mm, allowing the same insert to be used with different 45×45 mm profile variants.

When selecting an insert, the nominal profile size and wall thickness are key. The external flange, core and ribs fit into the profile opening: the flange covers the edge, while the ribs press against the inner walls. Polyethylene is a lightweight material, and the low weight of each insert means it is shipped as a small parcel.
