Description
Square tube insert 45×45 mm, black
The Square tube insert is used to close the open ends of profile tubes. It gives the structure a neat, attractive finish and conceals the profile's cross-section, making the ends of frames, platforms and equipment look tidy.
The internal section of the insert consists of ribs that press against the profile walls when pushed in, holding the insert in place. The wide external flange covers the edge of the profile and conceals any unevenness from cutting.
The insert is designed for profiles with wall thicknesses within the range specified, allowing it to be used with several tube variants of the same nominal size. For installation companies, it is a simple finishing component for load-bearing structures, frames and substructures made from hollow sections.
Plastic inserts are commonly used where an open profile needs to be closed quickly and without additional tools: simply press the insert into the tube. The black finish is visually neutral and matches dark structural components. The product is sold individually.
