Description
Square tube insert 40×40 mm, white, wall thickness 3.0–5.0 mm
The white Square tube insert 40×40 mm is used to close the open ends of square hollow profiles. For installation companies, it is a simple finishing component that neatly closes the ends of support structures, frames and substructures made from steel or aluminium profiles.
The insert is designed for profiles with a nominal size of 40 × 40 mm and a wall thickness of 3.0–5.0 mm. The wide wall thickness range allows the same model to be used with different profiles of the same external dimensions, simplifying selection and procurement.
Made from polyethylene, this lightweight plastic component closes the inside of the profile when pressed into place. The ribbed internal section presses against the profile walls and holds the insert in the opening, while the flat external flange covers the edge of the profile for a neat finish.
When selecting an insert, compare the external dimensions and wall thickness of the profile with the range given in the specification. A correctly selected insert is a push fit in the profile, with the flange sitting flush against its edge.
