Square tube insert 40×40 mm, anthracite, wall thickness 3.0–5.0 mm
The Square tube insert closes the open end of a hollow section and gives it a neat, uniform finish. It is suitable wherever exposed ends of steel or aluminium sections need to be protected from dirt and finished flush with the structure.
The component consists of an external flange that covers the edge of the tube and an internal ribbed insert that is pushed into the tube opening. Inserts of this type are fitted by pressing them into the end of the tube; the ribs adapt to the interior and help hold the insert in place.
