Description
Square tube insert 25×25 mm, black
The black Square tube insert is a finishing component for closing the open ends of hollow sections. The internal section slides into the tube and has ribs that press against the walls to hold the insert in place, while the external flange covers the edge of the tube.
Inserts of this type are used on the ends of steel and aluminium tubes in support structures, frames, frameworks and furniture. They cover sharp cut edges and provide a neat, uniform finish. The wide wall thickness range given in the specification allows one type of insert to be used with tubes of different wall thicknesses.

To install, press the internal section of the insert into the open end of the tube. Before installation, check the actual internal dimensions and wall thickness of the tube, as these determine how firmly the ribs grip.
