Description
Square tube insert 20×20 mm, green
The green Square tube insert is a finishing component that closes the open end of a tube or hollow section. Made of polyethylene, it provides a neat finish while protecting the profile edge from dirt and preventing contaminants from entering.
The insert consists of a wider flange that covers the edge of the profile and an internal section with fins. The fins are pressed into the profile to hold the insert in place. The profile wall thickness range specified allows it to be used with different profiles of the same cross-section.
When selecting an insert, check the external cross-section dimensions and wall thickness, as these determine how the fins fit inside the profile. The dimensions of the external and internal sections are given in the dimensions table below.
