Solid square aluminium bar 12×12 mm EN AW-6060 T64, L=2000 mm
Square aluminium bar 12×12 mm with a solid cross-section, made from alloy EN AW-6060 T64 (PA38 / AlMgSi0.5). A versatile structural element with a length of 2000 mm, ideal for prototype construction, support structures, machine components and general metalwork. Thanks to its raw (non-anodised) surface, the bar can be freely machined — turned, milled and drilled — and subsequently anodised or painted according to project requirements.
The AlMgSi0.5 alloy provides an excellent strength-to-weight ratio combined with very good machinability. Aluminium is naturally corrosion-resistant due to the formation of a protective oxide layer on its surface, eliminating the need for additional corrosion protection in many common applications.
