SolarEdge S500B is an advanced DC/DC power optimiser from the S series, designed for residential installations. Mounted directly at each PV module, it performs continuous maximum power point tracking (MPPT) at the individual panel level, allowing high energy production to be maintained even under partial shading or module soiling. The device supports PV modules with power up to 500 Wp and short-circuit current up to 15 A, offering a maximum conversion efficiency of 99.5%. The optimiser works with SolarEdge inverters, providing full system visibility — module-level performance monitoring enables quick location and diagnosis of issues. SolarEdge Sense Connect technology simplifies the installation process and increases operational safety. In standby mode, the output voltage drops to a safe level of 1 Vdc, ensuring protection during servicing. The product is covered by a 25-year manufacturer's warranty.
