The SolarEdge P950 power optimiser is an advanced device designed specifically to work with SolarEdge inverters, boosting the efficiency of a photovoltaic installation through individual maximum power point tracking (MPPT) for each panel. The device maintains high circuit voltage, resulting in improved inverter efficiency. The optimiser allows monitoring of the performance of individual modules via the SolarEdge monitoring platform, enabling quick detection and location of faults. Each optimiser is equipped with a SafeDC system, which automatically reduces the circuit voltage to a safe level (1 ± 0.1 Vdc) in the event of grid or inverter shutdown or fire hazard — ensuring safety for installers and emergency services. The P950 model is designed for vertical rail mounting and supports modules with a total rated power of up to 950 W, with the option of connecting two modules in series or parallel configuration.
