Description
Round tube insert Ø 60 mm, grey
The grey Round tube insert for Ø 60 mm tube is a finishing component for closing the ends of round tubes. Inserts of this type protect the open end of the tube from contamination and improve the appearance of the finished structure.
The internal section of the insert has ribs that press against the tube walls when pushed in, holding the insert in place. The external flange covers the edge of the tube, giving the end a neat finish.
The rib and core dimensions and the compatible tube wall thickness range are given in the specification below, making it easier to match the insert to a particular tube. Before ordering, measure the external diameter and wall thickness of the tube to ensure they are within the specified range.

Installation
To install, push the insert into the open end of the tube until the flange rests against the tube edge. The ribs conform to the inside of the tube, holding the insert in place. Push the insert in straight, along the axis of the tube, so that the flange sits evenly around the entire circumference.
