Installation and selection

Select the insert according to the tube's outside diameter and wall thickness — both parameters are provided in the specification below. Push-fit inserts are fitted into the tube opening by inserting the ribbed stem until the head sits flush against the end of the tube.

The chrome-plated cap is protected by a film, which is removed after the insert has been fitted. This keeps the shiny surface clean until finishing work is complete and gives the tubes in the finished installation a uniform, neat appearance.
