Round tube insert Ø 50 mm, grey
The grey round tube insert for Ø 50 mm tube is a finishing component for tube ends. The ribbed push-fit inner section closes the tube opening, while the wide outer head neatly covers the edge of the tube.
Inserts of this type are used to protect the open ends of round tubes in support structures, frames, racks, railings and metal furniture. Closing the opening protects the inside of the tube from dirt and the tube edge from impacts and damage.
Selection and installation
- Designed for round tubes with a nominal diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 1.2–2.5 mm
- The ribs on the inner section of push-fit inserts of this type hold the insert in the tube opening
- To install, press the inner section into the tube opening until the head rests against the tube edge
- The smooth outer head provides a neat, even finish to the tube end
