Round tube insert Ø 40 mm, grey

The grey Round tube insert Ø 40 mm provides a neat and durable closure for the end of a tube. It is designed for tubes with a wall thickness of 1.5–2.5 mm, making it suitable for common profiles used in support structures, fences, balustrades and frames.

The push-in section has fins that press against the tube wall when inserted, holding the insert in place. The wide outer flange covers the edge of the tube and provides a neat finish.

Inserts of this type protect the inside of the profile from dirt and cover the open, cut end of the tube. The nominal diameter and wall thickness of the profile are important when selecting an insert, while the height of the internal section determines its insertion depth.
