Round tube insert Ø 38 mm, black
The Round tube insert Ø 38 mm in black is a push-fit finishing component that closes the open end of a tube. Its smooth, flat external flange gives the closed tube end a neat, uniform appearance.
The internal section of the insert has ribs that press against the tube walls during installation and hold the insert in place. The insert is designed for tubes with a nominal diameter of 38 mm and a wall thickness of 1.5–2.5 mm, allowing it to be used with tubes of varying wall thicknesses.

The black insert is well suited to applications where the tube end requires a dark, neutral finish. It is sold individually.
Selection and installation
Two factors determine the selection of a Round tube insert: the nominal tube size and its wall thickness. The 38 mm insert fits tubes of this diameter with a wall thickness within the specified range of 1.5–2.5 mm.
To install, push the internal section into the open end of the tube until the external flange rests against the tube edge. The ribs flex against the tube wall and hold the insert in place. This type of closure is commonly used for round tubes in frames, support structures and equipment.
Plastic inserts are lightweight and convenient to store, while the flat flange creates a smooth, neat finish at the end of the tube.
