Description
Round tube insert 3/4" (Ø 26.9 mm), grey
The grey round tube insert for 3/4" tubes is a push-in internal insert for closing the ends of round tubes. It is used to finish tubular structures, frames and supports where the open end of the tube needs to be protected.
The external flange covers the edge of the tube, while the internal section with ribbed fins is pushed into the tube. The fins adapt to the inside of the tube and hold the insert in place.
Applications
- Closing the ends of 3/4" round tubes in structures, frames and supports
- Protecting open tube ends against dirt entering
- Covering the sharp edge of a cut tube
- Closing tubes with different wall thicknesses, within the range specified

Selection and installation
Before purchasing, check the outside diameter and wall thickness of the tube and compare them with the insert specifications. Place the insert in the tube opening and push it in until the flange rests against the edge of the tube.
A correctly sized insert is held in the tube by the fins on its internal section, while the flange covers the tube end from the outside. Push-in inserts of this type are typically used wherever an open tube end needs to be closed without additional fasteners.
