Round tube insert Ø 30 mm, blue

The blue Round tube insert for Ø 30 mm tube is a finishing component for closing the open ends of round tubes and profiles. It is used where the tube edge needs to be protected and neatly finished, and where the colour helps with identification or matching the structure.

The internal section of the insert is fitted with ribs that hold it in place when pushed into the tube. The flat external flange covers the edge of the tube for a neat finish. Inserts of this type are selected according to the nominal tube size and wall thickness range; this model fits walls between 1.0–2.0 mm thick.

The heights of the external and internal sections, core diameter and rib diameter are listed in the specifications below. The labels D, R, C, H, d1 and d2 allow them to be matched to the technical drawing.

Selection and installation

Push the insert into the open end of the tube until the flange rests against the edge of the profile. Before purchasing, measure the external diameter of the tube and check its wall thickness. A tube with a nominal diameter of 30 mm and a wall thickness within the specified range allows the ribs to fit correctly. The product is sold individually.
