Description
Round tube insert Ø 30 mm, black
The black Round tube insert Ø 30 mm is a finishing component for closing the open ends of tubular profiles. It covers sharp cut edges, helps keep dirt out of the tube and gives the structure a neat, uniform appearance.
The internal section of the insert features ribs that press against the tube wall when inserted, holding it in place. The external flange covers the edge of the profile and conceals the cut end. The insert is designed for profiles with a wall thickness of 1.0 to 2.0 mm, allowing it to be used with tubes of varying wall thicknesses within this range.
Applications
- Closing the ends of 30 mm diameter round tubes in support structures and frames
- Finishing balustrades, handrails, frames and fences made from round tubes
- Protecting the inside of the profile from dirt and helping prevent injuries from sharp cut edges
- Finishing stands, shelters and other structures made from tubular profiles
Selection and installation
Select the insert according to the tube's external diameter and wall thickness. To install, press the ribbed section into the profile opening until the flange rests against its edge. The black colour of the insert provides a uniform finish with black profiles.
