Description
Round tube insert Ø 30 mm, anthracite
The Round tube insert Ø 30 mm in anthracite (RAL 7016) is designed to protect the open ends of round tubes. It covers the tube opening, gives the structure a neat, finished appearance and protects the inside of the tube from dirt.
The insert has a wide external flange that covers the edge of the tube and an internal section with ribs. The ribs press against the tube wall and hold the insert in place once pushed in. The design is suitable for tubes with wall thicknesses within the range specified below.
Applications
- Protecting tube ends in steel and aluminium structures, fences and railings
- Finishing supports, frames and structures made from round tubes
- The anthracite colour (RAL 7016) complements dark structures and components with a modern appearance
Selection and installation
Select the insert according to the nominal tube size and wall thickness. To install, push the internal section into the open end of the tube until the flange rests against its edge.
Before installation, the tube end should be clean and free of burrs so that the ribs sit properly against the wall. All construction dimensions are given in the specification below.
