Description
Round tube insert 3" (Ø 88.9 mm), grey
The grey Round tube insert 3" (Ø 88.9 mm) is used to close the ends of round tubes and profiles. For installation companies, it is a simple finishing component that gives a neat appearance to the ends of supporting structures, balustrades and frames used in installations.
The internal section of the insert has ribs that slide into the tube opening. The smooth outer flange remains against the end of the profile and covers its edge. Inserts of this type close the open end of the tube, making it harder for dirt to enter the profile.
Selecting the right profile
- For 3" round tubes, including those with different wall thicknesses.
- The grey colour makes it easy to match with light-coloured profile ends.
- The flange covers the edge of the tube once installed.
Installation
Press the insert into the end of the tube until the flange rests against the end of the profile. The ribs on the internal section slide into the tube opening and hold the insert in place. Before installation, check the tube diameter and wall thickness to ensure a snug fit.
