Description
Round tube insert Ø 28 mm, purple (RAL 4005)
The Round tube insert Ø 28 mm in purple (RAL 4005) is a finishing component for closing the ends of round profiles. The smooth flange, 5.0 mm high, covers the edge of the tube, while the internal section fits inside it, protecting the end of the profile and providing a neat finish.
The ribs on the internal section press against the tube wall and hold the insert in place. The model is designed for tubes with a wall thickness of 1.0–2.0 mm, so one size can be used to close profiles with different wall thicknesses within this range. The purple RAL 4005 colour can also be used to highlight or colour-code selected structural elements.

Size selection
When selecting an insert, the nominal profile size and wall thickness are key. The flange height, insertion depth and dimensions of the core and ribs should be compared with the actual cross-section of the profile to ensure the insert is securely held in the tube.
