Description
Round tube insert Ø 27 mm, grey
Grey Round tube insert designed to close the ends of round tubes with a nominal diameter of Ø 27 mm. It protects the open end of the tube from dirt and gives the structure a neat, uniform finish.
The internal section of the insert has ribs that press against the tube wall when pushed in, holding the insert in place. The flat external flange covers the edge of the tube, providing a neat, even finish.
The insert is designed for tubes with various wall thicknesses within the range specified, allowing one version to be used with several tube types. Its plastic construction makes it lightweight and easy to handle on site.
Applications
- closing the ends of round tubes in load-bearing and support structures
- finishing frames, railings, frameworks and bases made from round tubes
- protecting the inside of the tube from dust and dirt
Installation and selection
Install the push-in insert by pressing the ribbed section into the end of the tube until the flange rests against the tube edge. Before purchasing, check the tube's outside diameter and wall thickness and compare them with the specifications below. Sold individually, the insert allows you to order the exact quantity required for your project.
