Description
Round tube insert Ø 22 mm, anthracite
The Round tube insert Ø 22 mm in anthracite (RAL 7016) provides a neat finish to the open end of a tubular profile. It is suitable for finishing tubular structures, frames and supports where the open end needs to be concealed with a flush, closed finish.
The internal section of the insert has ribs that press against the tube walls when pushed in, holding the insert in place. The compatible wall thickness range is given in the specification. The flat external flange covers the edge of the tube and gives the end a neat appearance.
Applications and selection
- closing the ends of round tubes with a nominal diameter of 22 mm
- finishing support structures and frames made from tubular profiles
- protecting the open end of the tube against dirt entering the interior
- anthracite RAL 7016 colour to match dark structural components
Installation
Inserts of this type are installed by pressing the internal section into the end of the tube until the flange sits against the edge of the profile. Before installation, check that the nominal tube diameter and wall thickness are within the range specified, as this ensures the ribs fit correctly.
