Description
Round tube insert Ø 20 mm, red
The red Round tube insert Ø 20 mm is a finishing component for protecting the open ends of tubes with a nominal diameter of 20 mm. The flat flange covers the edge of the tube, while the ribbed internal section fits inside it.
Inserts of this type are used to finish tubular structures such as frames, handrails and metal furniture. The closed tube end gives a neat appearance, while the sharp edge of the tube is covered. The red colour allows the insert to be matched to the finish of the structure.
The ribs on the internal section adapt to the tube wall and hold the insert in place. Press the insert into the open end of the tube until the flange sits against its edge. When selecting an insert, check the nominal diameter of the tube and its wall thickness, as specified.
