Round tube insert Ø 16 mm, black
The black Round tube insert Ø 16 mm is a finishing component for closing the open ends of tubular profiles. Inserts of this type cover the cut edge of the tube and give the end of the structure a neat, uniform appearance.
The insert consists of a flat external flange and an internal section with ribs. The ribs press against the tube wall and hold the insert in the profile once pushed in. It is designed for round tubes with a nominal dimension of 16 mm; the profile wall thickness range is stated in the specification.
Inserts of this type are commonly used on tube ends in frames, supports, balustrades and supporting structures, wherever an open profile end needs protection and a neat finish. The product is sold individually, allowing the exact number of components to be selected for the job.
Selection and installation
- Select according to the nominal profile dimension and wall thickness
- Install by pushing the insert into the open end of the tube until the flange sits against the end
- The flange covers the cut edge of the tube and improves the appearance of the end
- The ribs hold the insert in the tube once pushed in
