Description
Round tube insert Ø 15 mm, black
The black round tube insert Ø 15 mm is used to close the ends of round tubes with a nominal diameter of 15 mm. It is inserted into the tube opening, while the smooth external flange covers the edge of the tube and gives the end a finished appearance.
The internal section of the insert has ribs that press against the tube wall when inserted, holding it in the opening. The insert is designed for tubes with wall thicknesses within the range specified, so it fits different tubes with the same nominal diameter.

Selection and installation
When selecting an insert, the nominal tube diameter and wall thickness are essential, as they determine how the ribs fit inside the tube. The dimensions of the external and internal sections, core and ribs can be found in the specification next to the technical drawing.
To install, press the insert into the tube opening until the flange rests against the end of the tube. Inserts of this type are used to finish and protect the ends of round tubes. The product is sold individually.
