Description
Round tube insert Ø 140 mm, black, 2–6.5 mm wall thickness
The black Round tube insert Ø 140 mm is used to close the open ends of round tubes with an outside diameter of 140 mm. One model covers a wide range of tube wall thicknesses, making it suitable for tubes of different strengths with the same diameter.
The insert is pressed into the end of the tube. The ribbed internal section adapts to the tube's internal diameter and holds the insert in place, while the smooth external flange covers the tube edge. Inserts of this type are generally used to provide a neat finish and protect open tube ends in steel and aluminium structures.
