Round tube insert Ø 12 mm, black

The black round tube insert for Ø 12 mm tubes is a practical finishing component for closing the open ends of round tubes. It is suitable wherever an open tube end needs to be closed and neatly finished.

The insert consists of a flat flange that covers the tube edge and a ribbed push-in section. The ribs conform to the inside of the tube and hold the insert in place once pressed in. The flange covers the tube edge, giving the end a clean, closed finish.

Selection and applications

Push-in inserts of this type are selected according to the tube diameter and wall thickness; both determine how securely the ribs fit inside the tube. The compatible wall thickness range and working dimensions are given in the specification tables below.

Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools: push the insert into the open end of the tube until the flange sits against the tube edge. Before installation, check that the inside of the tube is clean and the cut edge is free of burrs to make the ribs easier to fit. The product is sold individually.
