Description
Round tube insert Ø 114 mm, white
The white round tube insert for Ø 114 mm tube provides a neat finish to the open end of a round tube. Inserts of this type protect the inside of the tube from dirt and cover the sharp edges of the tube end.
The internal section of the insert is fitted with ribs. Ribbed push-in inserts are installed by pressing them into the open end of the tube. The ribs conform to the tube wall and hold the insert in place. The external flange covers the edge of the tube and gives the end a finished appearance.
The insert is designed for round tubes with a nominal diameter of 114 mm and a wall thickness as specified. When selecting an insert for a particular tube, check the tube wall thickness against the range given in the Dimensions table, as this determines whether the ribs will fit correctly.
The white colour is suitable where tube ends need to be discreet or match light-coloured structural components, while the smooth flange surface makes them easy to keep clean.
