Description
Round tube insert Ø 108 mm, white
The white Round tube insert Ø 108 mm is a finishing component for closing the ends of tubes and profiles with a circular cross-section. It consists of an outer flange that covers the edge of the tube and an inner insert with ribs that is pushed into the profile opening.
Applications and selection
- Closing open ends of round tubes and protecting the inside of the profile from dirt
- Neat finishing of tubular structures, frames and fences
- Selection according to the nominal profile diameter and wall thickness, as specified in the Dimensions table
Installation
The insert is pushed into the open end of the tube until the flange rests against its edge. The ribs on the inner part flex during insertion and press against the profile wall, holding the push-fit insert in place. The wall thickness range specified allows the same model to be used with profiles of different wall thicknesses within one nominal diameter.
Finish and sales
Round tube inserts are used wherever an open tube end needs protection and a neat finish. The white colour is suitable for light-coloured profiles and components with a similar finish. The product is sold individually.
