Description
Round tube insert Ø 102 mm, white
The white Round tube insert Ø 102 mm is a finishing component used to close the open ends of round profiles. It is pressed into the tube, while the smooth outer flange covers the profile edge and gives the end a neat, even appearance.
Fins on the internal section press against the tube wall and hold the insert in the profile. The design is intended for tubes with a nominal diameter of 102 mm and a wall thickness of 1.0–5.0 mm, allowing it to be used in profiles with different wall thicknesses.
Applications and selection
- Protecting tube ends in steel and aluminium structures, fences, balustrades and frames
- Protecting the inside of the profile from dirt and preventing injury from sharp cut edges
- Finishing visible tube ends in a light colour
Installation involves placing the insert in the tube opening and pressing it in until the outer flange rests against the profile edge.
