Description
Round tube insert Ø 102 mm, black
The black Round tube insert Ø 102 mm provides a neat finish to the end of a tubular profile. Inserts of this type are pressed into the tube opening, where the ribs on the internal section press against the tube wall and hold the insert in place.
The flat outer flange covers the edge of the tube and gives it a finished appearance. Push-in inserts of this type close off the open end of the profile, helping to prevent dirt from entering the tube. The uniform black colour makes the insert unobtrusive on dark profiles.
Applications
- Closing the ends of round tubes in support structures and frames
- Finishing open ends of tubular profiles in steel and aluminium structures
- Completing assembly kits where tube ends need to be closed
Before ordering, compare the outside diameter and wall thickness of the tube with the values in the specifications. Press the insert into the end of the profile until the flange rests against the edge of the tube.
Construction
The insert consists of an outer flange and an internal section fitted with ribs. The labels D, R, C, H, d1 and d2 on the technical drawing correspond to the values given in the specifications.
