Round tube insert 1 1/4" (Ø 42.4 mm), anthracite
The Round tube insert 1 1/4" (Ø 42.4 mm) in anthracite (RAL 7016) is a finishing component for closing the open ends of round tubes. It neatly closes the tube and gives the structure a tidy, uniform appearance.
The insert has a smooth external flange that covers the edge of the tube and a ribbed internal section that fits inside it. The ribs hold the insert in the opening. The permitted wall thickness range allows it to be used in tubes with different wall thicknesses.
Applications
- closing the ends of round tubes with a diameter of 1 1/4" (Ø 42.4 mm)
- finishing tubular balustrades, handrails and fences
- protecting open profile ends in support structures and frames
When selecting an insert, the external section height (C), internal section height (H) and profile wall thickness (R) are important. These allow the installer to quickly compare the insert dimensions with the tube being used.
The insert is pushed into the end of the tube until the flange rests against the edge. Before installation, check that the tube's external diameter and wall thickness fall within the ranges given in the specification. It is sold individually, making it easy to select the exact quantity needed for a job.
