Description
Round tube insert, domed, Ø 40 mm, white
The white domed Round tube insert for Ø 40 mm tube is a finishing component that closes the open end of a tube and gives it a neat, rounded finish.
The inserted section is fitted with ribs that adapt to the inside of the tube and hold the insert in place. The wall thickness range given in the specification allows it to be used with tubes of different wall thicknesses, making it easier to select for different projects.
Applications and selection
- Protection of open ends of round tubes with an outside diameter of 40 mm
- Finishing balustrades, handrails, frames and tubular structures
- Neat white finish for visible tube ends
- Covering the cut edge of the tube for an even finish
Installation and use
Push the insert into the open end of the tube until the external section rests against the tube edge. The rounded dome covers the tube edge, while the ribs hold the insert in place. Before installation, check that the tube diameter and wall thickness match the specification to ensure a proper fit.
The white colour allows the insert to match light-coloured tubes and structures where the inserts are visible and need to blend in with the other components.
