Round tube insert, domed, 1 1/2", grey
The grey domed round tube insert, 1 1/2" is a finishing component for closing the ends of tubes with a nominal diameter of 48.3 mm. Its rounded, domed head gives the tube end a neat appearance and covers the sharp edge.
The ribbed internal section is pushed into the tube and holds the insert in place. It is designed for sections with a wall thickness of 2–3.5 mm, so selecting the right insert requires checking the tube's external diameter and wall thickness.
Inserts of this type are commonly used on tube ends in support structures, railings, fences, frames and other structures made from steel or aluminium tubes. Closing the opening helps prevent dirt from entering the section.
