Round aluminium tube Ø25×2 mm is a versatile closed profile with a round cross-section, made of EN AW-6060 T6 aluminium alloy (PA38, AlMgSi0.5). Thanks to its low weight of just 0.78 kg at a length of 2000 mm and excellent corrosion resistance, the tube is ideal wherever lightweight construction and material durability matter. The 6060 alloy in T6 temper offers very good machinability – the profile is easy to cut, drill, bend and join using standard workshop tools, which means shorter project turnaround times and lower installation costs.

The tube is widely used in aluminium structures, balustrades and handrails, racks and load-bearing frames, furniture, decorative elements, as well as in modelling and DIY projects. The EN AW-6060 T6 alloy (numerical designation 3.3206) belongs to the group of aluminium alloys with magnesium and silicon (AlMgSi0.5). In the T6 heat-treated temper, it offers an optimal compromise between mechanical strength and ductility. The raw (non-anodised) surface allows further finishing – anodising, powder coating or painting – depending on the requirements of the specific project. The tube is available in a range covering many diameter and wall thickness variants, making it possible to select the optimal profile for every application.

The profile is supplied in fixed-length sections, which simplifies material planning for cut-to-size work and minimises waste on the construction site.
