Round aluminium tube Ø25×2 mm is a universal closed profile with circular cross-section, manufactured from aluminium alloy EN AW-6060 T6 (PA38, AlMgSi0.5). Thanks to its low weight of only 0.78 kg at 2000 mm length and excellent corrosion resistance, the tube performs well wherever construction lightness and material durability are important. The 6060 alloy in T6 condition ensures very good machinability — the profile can be easily cut, drilled, bent and joined using standard workshop tools, which translates to shorter project completion times and lower installation costs.
Applications
The tube finds wide application in aluminium constructions, balustrades and handrails, frames and supporting structures, furniture, decorative elements, as well as in modelling and DIY projects. Material properties
Alloy EN AW-6060 T6 (numerical designation 3.3206) belongs to the group of aluminium alloys with magnesium and silicon (AlMgSi0.5). In heat treatment condition T6, it offers an optimal compromise between mechanical strength and plasticity. The raw (non-anodised) surface allows for further processing — anodising, powder coating or lacquering — depending on specific project requirements. The tube is available in a standard range covering many diameter and wall thickness variants, allowing optimal profile selection for each application.
