Rectangular tube insert 80×100 mm, grey, wall thickness 3.0–4.0 mm

The grey Rectangular tube insert 80×100 mm provides a neat and durable closure for the open end of a hollow section. It is designed for sections with a wall thickness of 2.0–4.0 mm, allowing one variant to fit several wall thicknesses.

The insert is made of polyethylene. The internal section, with its core and ribs, slides into the tube and fits against its walls, while the wide external flange covers the cut edge. This design gives tube ends a consistent appearance, protects the interior from dirt and covers the sharp edge left by cutting.

Application and selection

Polyethylene inserts of this type are commonly used to protect the ends of pipes and tubes: they cover cut edges and close the opening. Before ordering, check the internal dimensions and wall thickness of the tube; these should fall within the range given in the specifications.

Fit the insert by pressing the internal section into the open end of the tube until the flange rests against its edge. The sales unit is 1 piece.
