Description
Rectangular tube insert 60×80 mm, anthracite

The Rectangular tube insert closes the open end of a tube or hollow profile. It gives the structure a neat, uniform finish and prevents contaminants such as dust and small debris from entering the profile.
The insert is made from polyethylene in anthracite (RAL 7016). The internal section has ribbed fins that slide into the profile opening, while the external section forms a flange that covers the edge of the profile. This design is typical of push-fit inserts.
Application and selection
- Protecting the ends of rectangular profiles in support structures, frames and frameworks.
- The dark anthracite shade complements anthracite and black structural components.
- Polyethylene is a lightweight material commonly used to make profile inserts and feet.
- The insert is sold individually, making it easy to purchase the exact number needed.
When selecting an insert, the external dimensions and wall thickness of the profile are important, as they determine whether the internal fins will be securely wedged in the opening. The specifications below can be compared with your profile. Inserts of this type are used with steel and aluminium profiles and are fitted by pushing the insert into the opening until the flange rests against the edge of the profile.

The insert consists of a flat external section with rounded corners and a narrow internal section with several ribs. The ribs flex as the insert is pushed into the profile, holding it in the opening without additional fasteners.
For installation companies, this is a simple finishing component that is useful for load-bearing structures, mounting frames and bases made from hollow profiles. Closing the open ends reduces the risk of dirt entering the profile and improves the appearance of the finished structure.
