Description
Rectangular tube insert 50×70 mm, black
The black Rectangular tube insert 50×70 mm is a finishing component for closing the open ends of tubes and hollow profiles. Inserts of this type cover sharp edges left after cutting and protect the inside of the profile from dust and dirt.
The internal section of the insert is equipped with ribs that conform to the inside of the profile and hold the insert in place once pushed in. Installation involves pushing the insert into the open end of the profile; the external flange covers the edge and provides a neat finish. The insert is designed for profiles with a wall thickness within the range given in the specification.
The insert is made of polyethylene, a plastic commonly used for finishing components. The black colour complements steel and aluminium structures, including frames, bases and supporting elements in installations.
