Description
Rectangular tube insert 50×100 mm, brown, wall thickness 2.0–4.0 mm
The brown rectangular tube insert is designed to close the ends of rectangular profiles with a nominal size of 50 x 100 mm. It fits profiles with wall thicknesses from 2.0 to 4.0 mm, allowing one variant to be used with different profiles of the same external dimensions.
The insert is made of polyethylene. The flat external flange covers the edge of the profile and gives its end a neat, closed finish. The internal finned section is pressed into the profile, with the fins holding the insert in place.
Applications and selection
- Closing open ends of rectangular profiles used in structures, fencing, balustrades and frames.
- Select according to the nominal profile dimensions and wall thickness.
- The brown colour allows the profile ends to be matched to structures in similar colours.
To install, press the finned section into the open end of the profile until the flange rests against its edge. The insert closes the profile opening and helps prevent dirt from entering.
