The black Rectangular tube insert is a finishing component that closes the open end of a hollow profile. It protects the inside of the profile from dirt and gives the structure a neat, uniform appearance.

The insert is made of polyethylene. The outer section forms a flat flange that sits against the edge of the profile once installed. The inner section has ribs that fit inside the profile and hold the insert in place.

The model is designed for profiles with a range of wall thicknesses, making it easier to select when building structures from several types of profile. Plastic inserts are commonly used to protect the edges and interiors of steel and aluminium profiles. They are sold individually, allowing you to order exactly the number needed for your project.

Applications

Push the insert into the open end of the profile until the flange rests against its edge. The core and ribs fit inside the profile, and the insert is held in place by the pressure of the ribs against the walls.
