Rectangular tube insert 30×60 mm, grey
The grey Rectangular tube insert 30×60 mm is a simple finishing component that neatly closes the open end of a tube or hollow section. It protects the cut edge of the section against the ingress of dirt and gives the structure a tidy appearance.
The internal section of the insert is fitted with ribs that press against the walls of the section when pushed in, holding the insert in place. A flat external flange covers the edge and cross-section of the tube. The insert is designed for sections with a wall thickness of 1.5 to 3.0 mm.
Polyethylene is commonly used for this type of component: it is lightweight, flexible and moisture-resistant. The neutral grey colour gives the finished structure a consistent, understated appearance.
