Description
Rectangular tube insert 30×50 mm, black
The black Rectangular tube insert is a finishing component that closes the open end of a hollow section. It covers the sharp cut edge, protects the inside of the tube from dirt and gives the structure a neat, uniform appearance.
The insert consists of a flat flange and a ribbed internal section. The flange covers the edge of the tube and creates a flush end surface, while the ribs on the internal section press against the tube walls to hold the insert in place. The two dimensions of the insert, core and ribs, together with the heights of the external and internal sections, are shown in the specification tables below.
Inserts of this type are commonly used on the ends of steel and aluminium tubes in support structures, frames, stands and equipment components. The black colour complements dark tubes and painted surfaces, while the smooth flange reduces the risk of snagging on the edge of the tube.
