Description
Rectangular tube insert 30×40 mm, black
The black Rectangular tube insert 30 x 40 mm is used to finish the open ends of hollow profiles. It closes off the profile, gives the structure a neat, uniform appearance and helps keep contaminants out.
The insert is made of polyethylene. The internal section with ribs fits inside the profile, while the external flange covers the edge to create an even finish. Inserts of this type are pressed into the end of the profile, and the ribs conform to its interior.
The insert is designed for profiles with a nominal size of 30 x 40 mm and a wall thickness of 1.5 to 3.0 mm. This means that one product fits profiles with the same cross-section but different wall thicknesses, making it easier to select finishing components for structures, frames and supports.

Before installation, check that the nominal size and wall thickness of the profile are within the range specified for the insert. Correct dimensions ensure a secure fit in the profile. Push the insert into the clean, deburred end of the profile until the flange rests against its edge.
