Description
Rectangular tube insert 25×100 mm, grey, 1.5–3.0 mm wall thickness
The grey Rectangular tube insert 25×100 mm provides a neat finish for the open ends of tubes and hollow profiles. It is made of polyethylene, and its smooth flange covers the edge of the profile for a finished appearance.
The internal section of the insert has fins that enter the profile and press against its walls. The insert is designed for profiles with a wall thickness of 1.5–3.0 mm, allowing the same component to be used with different material thicknesses for the same nominal profile size.

Selection and installation
When selecting an insert, the nominal external dimensions of the profile and its wall thickness are important, as they determine the internal dimensions into which the core and fins fit. Inserts of this type are installed by pressing the internal section into the open end of the profile until the flange rests against its edge.
Plastic inserts are commonly used to finish hollow profiles in structures and furniture. The product is sold individually, and the grey colour is suitable where a subtle finish is required.
