Description
Rectangular tube insert 20×60 mm, grey
The grey Rectangular tube insert 20×60 mm is a push-in cap made of polyethylene, designed to close the ends of rectangular hollow-section tubes. It is suitable wherever an open tube end needs to be protected from dirt and given a neat finish.
The insert consists of a flat external flange that covers the edge of the tube once installed, and an internal section with flexible ribs. The ribs conform to the inside of the tube and hold the insert in place once pressed in. It fits tube wall thicknesses of 1.5–3.0 mm, so one size is suitable for different versions of 20×60 tube.

When selecting an insert, the nominal tube size and wall thickness are the determining factors. To install, press the internal section into the tube until the flange sits against its edge, closing the opening and covering the cut edge. Polyethylene components are lightweight and commonly used to finish tube ends.
The product is sold individually in units of 1 piece, so the number of inserts can be matched to the number of tube ends in the structure.
