Description
Rectangular tube insert 20×100 mm, anthracite, 1.5–3.0 mm wall thickness
The 20×100 mm Rectangular tube insert in anthracite (RAL 7016) closes the open end of a tube with a wall thickness of 1.5–3.0 mm. It protects the tube opening from dirt and gives the structure a neat, uniform finish.
The insert is made from polyethylene. The ribbed internal section is pressed into the tube and adapts to different wall thicknesses, so one variant covers the full 1.5–3.0 mm range. The flat outer flange covers the edge of the tube.
Applications
- finishing the ends of frames and structures made from 20×100 mm hollow sections
- finishing fence, balustrade and frame components made from rectangular tubes
- protecting the open ends of tubes in metal furniture and shelving
- anthracite colour matched to structures in dark shades
Inserts are sold individually, allowing you to order exactly the quantity required for the job. The lightweight, compact insert is shipped as a small parcel.
Inserts of this type are fitted by pressing the internal section into the tube opening until the flange rests against the edge. Before fitting, check that the tube wall thickness is within the specified range.
