Rectangular tube insert 15×30 mm, grey

Rectangular tube insert 15x30 mm in grey, made of polyethylene. It closes the ends of hollow sections, giving them a neat finish and protecting the inside from dirt.

The insert has a flat outer flange that covers the edge of the tube when fitted, and a ribbed stem. The ribs conform to the inside of the tube and hold the insert in place. The design is intended for tubes with a wall thickness of 1.0–2.0 mm, allowing one model to be used with different tubes of the same nominal dimensions.

Applications and selection

Before ordering, check the nominal dimensions of the tube and its wall thickness. Inserts of this type are pressed into the open end of the tube, with the ribs on the stem securing them in place. Polyethylene is a material commonly used to manufacture tube inserts. The product is sold individually.

Insert construction

The insert consists of an outer section, namely the flange that covers the edge of the tube, and an inner section with a core and ribs that fit inside the tube.
